My very first memory is washing cars at Little Joe’s. I was five years old at the time, and my dad, Little Joe himself, would bring me along to the dealership after kindergarten.

I guess you could say I was born to be in the car business. I never wanted to do anything else.

How It All Started and What
It Turned Into

In fact, on the weekends, I would even build my own dealership filled with Hot Wheels Cars and Fisher Price customers.

Loving cars must be in my blood because growing up at the dealership everywhere I turned there were aunts, uncles and cousins—it was a real family operation. Come to think of it, it’s still a family dealership. That’s probably why the dealership feels like home to me. And why I want others to feel like part of the family while they’re here.

But my family’s love of cars doesn’t stop at the dealership. We all love racing cars too. Growing up, when I wasn’t at the dealership helping people drive cars they love, I was at the track racing cars I loved.

That all changed in 2001, when I lost a long-time family friend in a fatal race crash. This tragedy reminded me that cars are replaceable, but family isn’t. So I hung up my racing helmet and shifted my focus towards Little Joe’s.

I wasn’t kidding about what I said before, working at the dealership every day feels like coming home. And I get that same good feeling every time I get behind the wheel of a car. That’s why I believe driving a car you love has the power to change your life.

And that’s why here at Little Joe’s we work hard to put the fun back into car buying.
